The Region 5 Health Department has extended its medical outreach programme to Burma.

Some young Berbicians have collaborated to form “Project Hope” – a NGO which aims to assist orphans and less fortunate.

Percy Phillips copped the Champion Worker Award at the Berbice Regional Health Authority (BRHA) Awards Ceremony held last Friday.

The BRHA will continue to expand its Primary Health Care Programme.

The Independent Party led by Mark Benschop recently shared its vision for the development of Berbice.
