As part of Mashramani celebrations the University of Guyana, Berbice campus, Faculty of Education, final year students mounted an art exhibition.
The Region Six Mash Committee recently hosted a Spelling Bee Competition for Primary schools in the Region.
The Berbice Campus of the University of Guyana celebrated Guyana’s 40th Republic Anniversary with a cultural programme.

Over the past two weeks Berbicians have been plagued by mosquitoes day and night.
A member of the Lions Club of New Amsterdam is overjoyed that she could be able to assist less fortunate at her alma mater.
Berbicians are being urged to turn out in large numbers to witness cultural diversity at the Flag Rising Ceremony slated to be held at State House Laws on the night of February 22nd.
According to the CEO of the Berbice Regional Health authority, 530 complaints about health care services were received by the authority last year.
