Residents of the Amerindian Hostel in Stanleytown,N/A recently received a quantity of clothing from the East Canje Humanitarian Society last Saturday.Members of the Charitable organisation visited the hostel and interacted with the residents. At the end of the visit,the group donated the clothing to the hostel.According to the president of the non-governmental organisation,Ms.Kawalpatie Dayaram,the visit was intended to coincide with Amerindian Heritage Month currently being observed.The East Canje Humanitarian Society operates under the motto “To assist and to serve”.
