Programmes
DTV-8 places emphasis on the broadcasting of local TV productions and operates in close collaboration with sister stations in the country.
DTV-8 airs a daily newscast “Prime News” (Producers:Adam Harris & Julia Johnson) at 12:00 hrs.
DTV-8 produces and broadcasts a newscast three times per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday with repeats on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. DTV-8 also produces documentaries, religious programmes, special programmes for important national and regional events and commercials. The station’s local broadcast include: Issues and Answers, Faith in Action (A Catholic Series), Kala Milan.There are also sitcoms, mini series and movies all of which are accessed via satellite.
DTV-8′s main source of income is through charges for the airing of commercials, greetings and announcements and locally produced religious, cultural, educational and social interest programmes.
